Inoko Sushi Express in Atdens

Good food. Good price. Good people.

I ordered the same thing I have ordered, every time the food tasted a bit funny and my body told me to stop eating. A few hours later lets just say "I was ill" and had to call out from work due to it. Never eat here again.

I honestly wish I could give it 7 stars!Food is delicious (although I do wish the protein sizes were a little larger). All you can eat Onion and Miso soup, which are delicious. Friendly, efficient staff. You always feel very welcome when you come.My wife has some severe food sensitivities, and she has never had a problem with their food. It's nice to have a place to go if she needs something quick to eat that won't make her sick.

Food is always good and fresh. Staff is friendly , courtesy and care about your satisfaction.

Hands down the best Inoko Express location in Athens. As someone who has frequently visister every location, I can say with certainty that you should not bother going to the other locations because they will leave you disappointed. However, the staff here is usually very friendly, the food is great, the prices are amazing (especially the lunch specials), and it's the only location that offers a sushi bar. The dining room could use some updates, but the great food and prices more than makes up for this. Overall a great place to eat and highly recommended!

Best experience I’ve had with an inoko express so far. Food was excellent, only complaint is the smell within the restaurant. I think it needs a deep cleanup throughout.

It was quick and it was relatively cheap. I'll give it that. I legitimately feel bad for anyone that thinks this food is delicious, though. The soup was completely inedible. The sushi was some of the worst I have ever had. The "chicken lunch" was one huge step down from mall Chinese food. Overcooked, tough chicken breast with ridiculously oversweet, oversalty, bland sauce. The "fried rice" had no eggs or veggies in it at all. It was just white rice with some soy and maybe some fake smoke flavor? This is some of the worst food I've had in years.

Love this place. Fresh, real food, great service, for the same price as fast food, can’t beat this! Sushi lunch special is my favorite. Also great option if you are watching what you eat but still need to eat out.

I haven't even tried the food yet.. I just ordered and I must say the apmosphere is really nice and clean. And the woman who took our order was an absolute delight☺ she was very thorough and answered all of my questions.. I hope the food matches the service!! It's 10 stars for me and my family!!

I liked it. All their menu items are a fair price, especially lunch items. However, I am SO disappointed that they offer Styrofoam to-go plates. Styrofoam is bad for the environment and they should switch to (and perhaps charge) biodegradable take out plates.

I’ve been eating at Inoko Sushi Express for over 5 years now. Always delicious, always friendly, and always quick. My favorite roll is the Lady Bug, which is wrapped in soy paper and contains yummy tempura shrimp, crab, and cucumber. I also like the majority of the other maki offerings. My husband loves the Hawaiian chicken and the dawg bowl. The lot is shared with Kroger, so there’s ample parking. They often play 80s on 8 music. It’s a very chill place, and any excuse I can find to go there, I do. Love the Inoko team!

This place has the BEST sushi and the BEST staff. This is one of my top places to go to meet with friends. The food is good and the price is really good for college students looking to fill their bellies with some delicious food.

Tasty sushi, and in a hurry! We ordered quite a few rolls, along with hibachi, it it came out very quickly. We were even there during the dinner rush. The cashiers were all very friendly. The ginger dressing that they give for their salads is great, and the food comes out on these cute little wooden palates. We got the Pink Lady Roll and a few other creatively named rolls that escape my memory now, all were great, and not too terribly priced, either.

I know it says express, it just wasn't the same as regular Sushi restaurants. It's great if your in a hurry to leave. You order from the cashier (smiling & friendly) and someone brings your order to you. You can see the sushi chefs. No one explained I had to get Napkins, chopsticks, etc. from the serving area. I also didn't know if soup was included or about refills on hot tea. I stumbled thru it. Too many interruptions to enjoy the place. The Dragon Roll was delicious. Soft shell crab deep fried with smoked eel, cucumber & seaweed salad. I ordered a Bulldog roll but got a Bagel roll, which was plain & boring. SO, unhappy first experience.

This place has good food for a fair price. In addition to a normal selection for a Japanese/Chinese style restaurant, they have soup available with every meal. They have a decent sushi selection as well, but that's not something I know a ton about.

If you want mediocre sushi for a good price, come here. They give you free, unlimited miso soup, which is a nice gesture but doesn't taste so good. However, they do have some good options at reasonable prices if you're looking for something quick.

Consistently has good food at a great price. All the employees are courteous and helpful. I especially love that their soup is self-serve. All around a great experience.

I have been visiting this restaurant for around 7 or 8 years. Ate here on the first date with the wife. I have since moved away from Athens and had a child but anytime we are in town or close we stop by. There is a older gentleman who has always been there to greet us. Best quick hibachi and yellow sauce in Athens hands down.

Great pricing and amazing quality, plus the miso soup is always good. Also, Inoko express has great lunch prices of you can get there early. A good choice is always the mango chicken with yellow sauce.

Always met with a greeting when you walk in. Best place on the east side of Athens for a cheap lunch. The chicken lunch plate is great. Always leave here full and satisfied. The free miso soup is also worth recognizing.

Wow, this was a surprise. Hidden gem in a strip mall serving a large collection of fresh made sushi, sashimi, tempura, and even bento boxes meals at reasonable prices. Lunch specials too!

Great value (especially if you get the lunch deal and pay with cash) and it's very high quality food. Wonderful variety of options and guaranteed to leave you satisfied. Also most everything is served with delicious soup.

Cheap? Yes, in all aspects of the word. "Veggies" consists of mostly onions with a couple pieces of zucchini, chicken is dry, nothing tastes seasoned, and everything comes on a styrofoam plate.

Service and staff are great but the sushi is awful and poorly made. You’d be happier going to Kroger, Publix or the Chinese buffet which are in the same area. I was told to try this place out while at the grocery store and was seriously disappointed.

Inokos food at take out prices. Incredibly fast, always consistent. We typically get a Rainbow roll, California roll and teriyaki steak and shrimp. House dressing is ginger as always. Not as much a fan of the chicken, recommend everything else. One of our absolutely favorite places for a quick but nice meal.

This place is great! I live 5 minutes from the other inoko express and I will never go there again. The difference in taste from both restaurants is unbelievable. At sushi express the food tastes WAY better and customer service was better than the other one. Very pleased with this place

Love love love this place. Lived here since 2009 and this is still my go to place when i want a ton of tasty Japanese food for a price good on my budget. Haven't really had much sushi here, but friends enjoy it. Service is always great, everyone is super nice and they make me feel welcome even when I'm eating solo. And they're super quick, even with carry out!

I love Inoko Sushi Express! As a grad student, the prices can't be beat for this quality and amount of food. It's fast and always delicious. I haven't had one thing I didn't like, and the staff are always super friendly. Wouldn't have made it through my PhD without this place!

Had an issue at the old location with cleanliness. They moved. So after a year, I decided to visit my former favorite sushi place in Athens to try it out again. Tasted great except three hours later my body is trying to get rid of the samurai roll I ate. Bad fish
